Hello Friends,
I did some simple fixes recently that made a very big difference. I cleaned the throttle body (without removal of it) and re adjusted the throttle cable.
Of course avoid spraying dirt into the engine. I used shop paper towels and sprayed the cleaner on them and hand wiped the inside of the throttle body and the choke plates. I removed all carbon build up so now the car idles great. My throttle cable was not correct, so after loosening it, I realized that it was twisted. I guess when someone else was adjusting it, they tightened the wrong adjustment twisting the whole cable. Only loosen and tighten the outer nut, the inner one is just to keep it aligned.
Also some members asked about the bass I used on "Hard Headed Woman", from my album "Lucky 7". www.lubolink.com. I'm including it in a photo attached. Also there is a pic of my car and a 100 ft oak tree that was uprooted from a tornado. We made a monument out of it because it is still alive.
Also, there is a pic of my back stage pass when I played a major blues festival in Canada.
