Would have to see it in person .... but I dont hate it ... would finish off the rear glass nicely ... ;)

However tinting that rear glass would hide the engine and I wouldnt like that ... Is that rear glass with the heating elements even possible to tint ?

Ya ,sure helps to see something first . As for the heating elements that’s a good point. Not sure how hot it gets but at the temperature you would have it turned on the glass is dissipating heat fairly quickly. A lot of tinted windshields out there . Yours included I believe.
You don’t see the engine when you’re driving and if you want to see it just open the lid . Or , no tint or just a 50% .

Yea funny you mention that ..... The front is tinted at like 50 or 60 ... I had all the windows tinted except the glass on the hatch ... when I originally asked for all the glass tinted they thought that I meant the rear hatch instead of the inner back glass ..... glad we cleared that up before they started ... but no my rear hatch is not tinted ....

All these little things we add ... makes our 'Vettes our own and although some of the choices I have made wouldnt sit well with others ...I wouldn't have it any other way ;)

You can see the 1/2" strip not 5% tinted on my car, I twice caught people leaning in to see the engine rubbing themselves on the rear quarters and I really like the blacked out look

Seeing it on an actual customers car ..... it looks great and although I love the fact of the visible engine ... by tinting that back window .... it would look downright sinister ! .... big thumbs up !;)
I suppose I should now comment on my own post. Although it seems like a lot of cash for what it is I think I am going to go for it . Perhaps with a 50% tint . And as @Murray20c8 said, it looks like it belongs there . And as a bonus it might give you another 2 pounds of extra downforce, lol. Hard to tell from the angle that picture is taken it doesn’t appear that it would impede air flow from the gap at the end of the glass. I’ll see if I can find another view. Be nice if it came in all of the available body colours.
