Gmail email uses nesting and to be honest, I'm not a great fan. An email with multiple replies back and forth that tend to get lost in the nesting results in me having to rummage through multiple sends and reply 'nests' to recall the particular conversation I'm looking for. But. That being said, that's me and my lack of patience and my regular tech brain farts. I'll be interested in seeing responses from a cross section of members.

It could certainly be an option. It has value. Often I have to click the reference to find out what the convo was about. At the same time I hate Facebook and reddit when I have to click on "more" to see the answers. A waste of time when I can be checking my OAS payments.

If it weren't too much work you could trial it and judge by feedback. Probably end up 50/50 lol.

That is your phone. We all know. Last Land Line in Canada lol..
lol.... not the last land line in Canada. Possibly the last land line in a city but rural dwellers like me, at least where I live, mobile telephone service sucks. If I stand on one foot with my tongue up against my picture window I may have Telus cell service long enough to dial out and then lose the call within seconds. No cable out here, no fibre optics. We have more satellite dishes than NASA just to get internet and television. Starlink has the beginnings of a mobile service but it's limited to SMS so no voice or data. And it's limited to only a few makes and models of phones. But to be honest, I don't mind the peace and quiet.... lol....

I'm pretty sure Telus has a free VOIP option for your cell service. Fido, Bell and Rogers all have it. My phone connects through my internet when the cell signal sux. And it sux here, like yours. Now I can leave my phone anywhere and it works flawlessly.
We also have voip household phone number so people can call the household.
