[QUOTE="Rruuff Day, post: 234942, member: 2217"] Well... Thoughts for the day has been quiet lately so I will toss my two cents worth in... Got up this morning and after a while my one and only informed me that our landline phone was not working.... dead air... After spending my 30 minute cell call wait on hold with the carrier, I grew tired and pushed "2" to have them call be back. A couple hours later, I received the call from a nice young man who's name I didn't quite catch. Just a note that by this time social media had confirmed that everyone in our area was also without phone service. I explained we had dead air and that all our neighbours also had no service. He then asked me how many phones I had and how many were actually plugged into the phone line as opposed to being portable. I told him 2 phones were plugged into the phone lines, but I was beginning to doubt his understanding of my problem. He then asked me to unplug one phone at a time and then check if the other phone was working or not. I was a bit unclear on how my phones could have caused the crash of everyone in East Red Deer and asked him such. He said there was no system note indicating a disruption in the area and it might be just my phone line (even though half the County was dead as well).
