Thanks Manny -- the install was fun tho you wouldn't let me do much....

Very meticulous install.

Love the VaraRams -- and thanks for letting us watch..

Now to start saving for that C/F splitter.

No pics yet will post tomorrow.

Cheers, Colin (and Terry)

Pics of VaraRam install at Manny's

As promised -- pics of my install at Manny's shop.

Thanks again Manny ...

An finally one of a screw up this morning : My new baby has a scuff on the front bumper from a metal pipe falling on it and barely scuffing it.

Not happy but oh well -- it could be worse, much worse.
I'm hoping it'll buff out with my Porter Cable, and a little touch up, it should be fine.

Colin.

i would only attack this if you have experience with cut polishing. It isn't easy and if you burn the paint, you're screwed. In fact I would take it to someone that can wet sand and polish the whole area for the best results.

Thanks, HLN, As you say: 80% is gone with just buffing with an orbital (all but impossible to burn); With a deft hand and some touch-up I can make it 95%...
It's such a small area (about 1"x3") it's now hardly noticeable.
If that's as bad as it gets I figure I got off light.

C.
