I need to purchase and replace both. Is it going to be hard work, do they need to be calibrated on site. This C3 is an on going project. Much to do and things to find. Also need seat belt mounting bolts with sleeve, has anyone got spares or where can I get them. Tried everywhere

Just to clarify, are you referring to the speedometer and tachometer? (tach and rev counter are the same thing). If so, these are available through many of the Corvette parts suppliers - mostly in the USA although there are some in Canada (be aware reproductions can be pricey). They should be both accessible by taking apart the cluster. The tach will be an electronic unit, basically plug-in and the speedo is run by cable from the transmission- all calibration is done by combination of gears at the transmission.
The seat belt bolts appear to be available at the same parts suppliers although if you want exact reproductions you may have to look thru a few suppliers to find.
Two of the best investments you can make for your car would be a reproduction factory service manual which will detail repair procedures and a factory assembly manual, which is the book used on the assembly line to build the car. Both will give you a great deal of detail in any of the repairs you need to do and can help you determine if a repair is within your abilities or if you need to take the car to a mechanic.
