There are actually 3 variations to the T-tops.

68-69E and 69L-77 tops are all basically the same. They all use 2 handles per top, the difference is in the type and attachment of the weatherstrip. The 68-69E tops used a 2 piece weatherstrip, with one straight piece over the door glass, and a separate piece that wraps around the other three sides of the top.

The 69L-77 tops use a one piece weatherstrip that wraps all the way around the top.

78-82 tops only have a single handle per top, and a pin that comes out of the back of the top, to secure it to the "B" pillar. The 78-82 top weatherstrip is one piece, but differs from the 69L-77 weatherstrip. The 69L-77 weatherstrip uses a retainer to hold the portion of the weatherstrip, that's over the door glass. The 78-82 top weatherstrip has metal molded into the area over the door glass, eliminating the need for the retainer.

Whether or not you can use the glass tops on your car, will depend on if the tops are aftermarket 2 handle tops, or OEM 78-82 single handle ones.
