Emotionally I'm not sure how most of you people fair when it gets dark during the winter. I find it terrible myself. Even though I know the period of daylight is getting longer I was curious to know by how much.

So from Monday to Friday we've picked up 3 1/2 more minutes in the morning and 7 minutes in the evening!! 10 minutes in 5 days, sure seems like a lot now doesn't it?

It is so welcome!

"Corvette summer", so to speak, won't be soon enough for this guy.

Cheers,

Garry

I also look for the extra daylight minutes, Garry -- Am happy to see about half an hour more since winter solstice.

Also counting the days until the next 'vette season' .:D

Hang in there guys, it's coming. Try living with 10 foot high snowbanks where you have to cautiously creep your car out at every intersection to avoid getting t-boned. Can't come soon enough for me.

I don't envy your predicament up there in OS -- Greg.

Been busy this morning digging out the storm drains on the street to try to avoid flooding from the rain forecast for tomorrow...

Counting the days, Greg, and getting antsy doing so.:banghead:

sunny days - ah lighthouse. great band, i remember seeing them at a sadie hawkins dance at birchmount collegiate in scarborough back in 68. we were really wowed that they had two full drum kits, skip prokop was great. bob mcbride had a tremendous voice and what range. i saw them play in bridgenorth around 92 and had a real good chat with mcbride. it was too bad that such a talented guy came to such a tragic end not long after.

I know your feeling of needing sun Garry. December I don't mind because you get to see the Christmas trees and lights longer. But once January hits. I look forward to sun! I'm about to gain three hours of sun a day on Wednesday for a couple weeks so that will make me much happier to skip two weeks of this stuff!

So where are you 'skipping' to Riley? -- Sounds sunny and nice.
