Took her out for a run, but decided to do a little yearly maintenance first. Bled the clutch fluid. Noticed a big difference shifting. The fluid was only a year old but was pretty dirty.

I also cleaned the Air Intake System, including the MAF Sensor, Throttle Body, & Air Filter, made a noticeable difference.

Good call on cleaning the MAF. It is something that is often over looked in routine maintenance. It is definitely something one should address regularly. The difference in performance can be very noticeable. Especially if you bought a used car that hasn’t had it serviced in a very long time. The system needs the wire on the MAF perfectly clean to operate at the proper specs. Otherwise it’s signal to the computer is wrong. Which can cause symptoms ranging from mild to wild. In our cases it is usually just minor changes in fueling due to air fuel mixture being altered. That alteration can cause a noticeable horsepower and performance loss. Couple notes on cleaning, don’t put it back in wet. Always make sure it’s completely dry or it can be damaged (they run off low current that heats the tiny wire). Also if using a blowgun with compressed air DO NOT use it at full blast/pressure. It needs to be modulated for pressure ( less trigger squeeze in most cases) or the pressure can damage the fine wire.

No didn't use compressed air, let the sun dry it .Luckily it was a dry sunny day.👍
