I used Dynamat. There are other lighter options out there. The sound insulation does help with reducing road noise. I applied it behind the seats and the entire rear area. Non runflat tires also help.

Upon further research, not going to remove exhaust to replace factory heat shield....GM used a “NASA” product they used in the space industry’Aerogel’, from what I read about it , it’s about the best you can do with a small amount of space/clearance underneath , will use a layer of ‘Kilmat’ and then a layer of ‘Aerogel’ insulation with another layer of ‘Kilmat’ on top of that against the transmission tunnel from inside of car. Spring 😷 projects getting bigger👍
