Awesome look to the carbon fiber. I assume you removed the stock cover? I'd love to do the whole engine with cf but a little too expensive.

Yeah I removed the stock cover. The clips that hold some cable loom down to the cover were a bitch to get off. One broke, but it's just a 0.50 cent clip that isn't really necessary. I'll pick one up at my dealer next time I'm there. And yeah, the real carbon fiber pieces are expensive. I think this is the only covers I'll do in the engine bay. Im satisfied with all my visual mods now. Performance will come next winter.

Looks great ! I would like to do the same to mine to match to the Crystal Red exterior on the fuel rail covers. Who did the paint for you or which vendor did you use? Ballpark cost for the CF plenum and painted fuel rails? I see a wide variety of prices on the net mostly U.S vendors.

I think it was around $700ish from RPI Designs. The plenum was the expensive piece cause it's real carbon fiber. You can get it cheaper for fake carbon fiber pieces.

Yes Doug but the poster is very smooth. Slipped in right in with a compliment, well deserved by the way, but I think you are right.
