Has any one figured out how to get these engine bay panels nice and black?

Mine were water spotted from day one. I asked the detailer who ceramic coated my car if there was anything that could be done, and he said not really.

I used some boat detailer to remove most of the water spots, but this isn't permanent by any stretch.

If someone really wanted to go full OCD, they could send the panels out for painting or get them wrapped.

Search on the mid engine forums for the solution. I remember someone figured out the best way to remove the water spots. I assume you have tried a tire black product to get them black if the water spots aren't there right now. My engine bay is dirty and it doesn't bother me. lol.

i may be OCD lol i told my daughter to put on her microfiber clothes and shoes if she wanted a ride

I have seen many of them wrapped body colour or imitation carbon fiber. Looks good.
