So this is the last of my shorty stories.

GM stopped making the shorty in 2018 so my current truck is a total beast. I love the new technology but its a freaking bus! Now that my contract has finally expired I don't need the extra row of seating (inside storage in my case) so I'm thinking of getting a GMC standard cab, long box 4x4? Yip, going old school.

I had to sell this truck last May 2019 with only 335,000 klicks. I had replaced the front end but it had multiple leaks due to the bad roads I was driving. Two years of gravel and big pot holes took its toll... These photos were when the truck was pretty much new. The one photo is of my youngest girl, Lisa in my first Vette. She owned the second fob. 😘 .... Yeah, that was our personal Chevy farm...

Thanks for looking and good health to all. :Cheers2:

Nice. I like the short box trucks as well. I had an 86 GMC that I totally disassembled and rebuilt. Spent a small fortune on that and sold it just before paint. Had lots of fun doing the rebuild, but wanted a Vette more.

A guy at work years ago bought a new LiL Red Express truck. Very rare to see one nowadays. Closest thing to a shortie now is the Honda Ridgeline. Nice pics you have there for the memories.
