I forgot all about this as there was very little radio promotion that I heard. The Snowbirds just blasted over my place in the nine plane diamond formation at about 1500 feet.

The springbank airshow is going today after being cancelled yesterday by high winds and a thunderstorm. Begins at 10 am.

I think I got a pretty good spot. Didn’t cost anything. Took the shortcut on Old Banff Coach road and bypassed a 5 km lineup on Hwy 1 to just east of the airport. I’m waiting for the RCMP to stop. He’s driven by twice.
