Well as posted I took my Xfire to a small town show last week and won People's Choice. Today I took my 58 Impala of 43 years to Shellbrook another town 55 miles away. The 348 ignited and the rumbled all the way there without a hiccup ( man that car rides nice ) . It was a dark and gloomy cold day looking like rain any minute but I figured what the heck , I'm going. They usually have about 70 cars show up , but cause of the weather only about 25 came. The old huge stationary engines impressed me, they banged away all day long. The biggest one was a 10 horse and he had it hooked to a pump pumping water round and round from a tank on the 1/2 ton. It originally was a CNR pumper that sat by the tracks and filled the big water tower for the steam engines back in the day. Also was a Hit and Miss running that I never seen a real one before. Neat old engines 4sure. Oh, despite all the stone chips of 43 years and flaws on my 58 , people sure liked the thing and voted it People's Choice which came with a $150 Co-op gift card. Wow I was floored again . Some pics from the show ( a few extra bragging shots of the 58 ) .

X, Canada Revenue will be in touch with you shortly.

Nice pics and I thank you for the story on the hit and miss engine. Those mechanical marvels intrigue me and the connection to the railroad makes it even better.
