Well, after waiting almost 6 weeks for the ZR1 to be delivered, she is finally here and in my garage! Now comes the issue with having to deal with CT. I can only hope it goes well. The car arrived and looks just as spectacular as it did when I saw it in the dealer's showroom. When weather improves, I will get some pics. and post.

When you go in, don't take your eyes off the car and don't let anyone drive it without you riding shotgun. The places around here don't have an exactly illustrious reputation....to put it mildly.

Canadian tire will not mess with your ride do not feel about any negative responce to canadian tire handling your car, it is what it is and canadian tire is the chosen inspection station for cars that come in from the states.I know many who have had to use canadian tire when they brought in state side cars and none have any drama on any level this is the last step required for a state side car to finish the paper work.Enjoy the car you are almost free from the work required when bringing in a usa car to Canada.

Appointment at 3:30 tomorrow at CT and I think everything will go well. Nobody will drive that is for sure and they already know I am staying with the car throughout the process. Thx. again to all for your advice and kind words. Will keep you posted after CT experience tomorrow.

Good to hear, Terry, and congrats on its arrival . Tell me if you need some pics posted .......... I would be honoured to post pics of your new ZR-1 .....

Cheers,

Well, the visit to CT turned out to be a non event and I am pleased just how well it went. Car was e-tested, saftied and RIV paperwork handled in 45 minutes out the door. Then, it started snowing on my way to get it plated so I quickly headed home and got my daily driver and back to license bureau to pay a wack of PST and get a sticker. We are now good to go! This thing is wickedly fast and will get sideways very easily as I have found out already.

Awesome!!...Yeah you have to respect that power weather it but a base coupe or a ZR1. It can get away on you really fast if your not careful. Especially with over 600 wild ponies at your foot :)

Post up some pics when you can

So happy to hear all went well Terry and the beast is ready for the road. Pics when you can please!
Greg.

I know the feeling Terry -- Disconcerting to say the least -- But the POWER........Intoxicating isn't it..... (altho I haven't fully explored mine yet-- too dang cold mostly).......

Glad the CTC trek went well -- you can't be too careful these days for sure.

Will send some pics. to you Colin when the weather is a little nicer and I can take her out somewhere nice and after she is washed and cleaned up a bit. She is a little dirty/dusty from the trip and from when I drove her to CTC.
