Interesting piece of history. I see historical plaques by the roadside on occasion and wonder if anyone reads them. As in Mike's video it is worth the stop.

Thanks M. There's another memorial on the 1A closer to lake Louise. I can't recall what it's commemorating though. Maybe for the Japanese POWs. If any of the LL overnighters drove the 1A from LL to Banff,they would've passed it. Myself,I like roadside stuff like that.
