Just a note to all aspiring 'but unsure' ceramic coating installers. Since becoming familiar with this fairly new product I have seen a few disasters with respect to consumer installations. There is a reason why ceramic coating manufacturers are qualifying certain detailers for the applications. Whether CQuartz or Opti-Coat Pro, if attempted by anyone who may not be "somewhat capable" of the basic technique to ensure a smooth and even result, they may find themselves with a mass of shadowing and high spots that will literally be cause for a nervous breakdown (of coarse depending on how much they love their car.) Many folks out there are quite capable of a successful installation but be aware that an unsuccessful result must be immediately polished out ...and if left more than a week to cure may result in the need of a complete wet-sand removal. Unless of coarse they're okay with the unique looking checkerboard effect.
