roof panel replacement

Got my new roof back from the paint shop. I ended up having to buy the two side trim covers because of some idiot GM engineer that decided the clips should tear the pieces apart while trying to remove them. Each piece is worth $60.00. The roof panel was $1,213.55 including tax and shipping. Paint was $500.
Here's a pictures of the trim pieces and the redish clips are the ones that refuse to come out of the top. They ripped the plastic as shown circled below and then I pulled the clips out of the top with much difficulty.

I have no idea why they didn't use the grey ones for all the clps. They came out nicely.
I put the clips back on the trim pieces thinking I'd reuse them, but since I was already spending a fair chunk I decide what's another $170 ish.

Here is the new top. They only have the alignment pins installed. All the latches, trim pieces and liner have to be moved. The liner is glued on so it might also be a pain to move.
