Hi Folks
Looking for input on shocks for my 09 Z06. Daily driver, no track duty.
DRM Bilsteins seem very well regarded and the go to replacement.
What about Johnny O'Connell shocks, they come as Pdaft or aFe variants.

Anyone have experienced input with either or boths brands.

I bought the DRMs last summer. My car had only 10000km (I am 2nd owner), and the OE shocks were fine for street. But I do track the car and the stock setup was pretty bad on track.
The DRM ride is like stock on street, no impact harshness (despite the optional poly bushings), but if you don;t track the car, there's little point in upgrading unless the stock ones are shot.

I sold my stock ones to a friend who has a stock C5 and they replaced his blown, high mileage originals. They were an upgrade for him

What do you mean by PFaft or aFe variants? Is that a special mechanism or brand?
