Reminder About Corvette Plant Tours
Beginning September 14, tours of Bowling Green Assembly will be temporarily closed as they begin preparations to build the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette. We can't yet announce when the plant will reopen to the public, but can tell you it will be well worth the wait.

For updates, please check their website, Bowling Green Assembly Plant - Home of the Corvette.

Saw it and the museum with my brother last Sept and we really enjoyed it.
With the changeover to the C7, we may just plan another visit next year.
Will be following the BG website closely.

Thanks again Bish.

C.

For anyone who has never done this tour...DO IT!! I've done it twice now and it's really well worth it. While you're there do the NCM as well. I'm an autoworker and I still find the Corvette plant awesome to go through.

They definitely don't want prying eyes in the plant while the new parts and pieces of the 2014 are floating around. They will be gradually setting up for the '14 while still building the '13. We did it in the Oshawa truck plant to minimize down time when there was a significant model change over. That way we had much of the work done before the build out was finished on the previous model. The seem to be keeping a pretty tight lid on this one. Hopefully they don't go crazy with odd body lines and scoops all over the place.
