Rear air duct mesh

I noticed yesterday that there is no screen or mesh in the rear driver side air intake. There is a mesh on the passenger side. I called my dealer and they had to look at the four cars that they had in stock and they said their cars only have it on the driver side and nothing on the passenger side. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?

I have Z51 and mine is exactly like yours

I believe all radiators come exposed from the factory. I installed grills at the front (4 pieces) and rear intakes (behind the doors). Got them online from Radiator Grill Store. Part aesthetics, part to protect the radiators.

No, like post 12 above, the rear radiators have an open grill. The front ones are exposed and the mesh you can buy is a lot closer mesh than the stock ones pictured above in post 12

Yes it matters. You can get screens for both and the entire front-end to protect rads from Paragon if you like...Happy Motoring!!!
