`Walmart is preparing to enter the Metaverse. According to seven trademarks filed by the retailer on December 30th, Walmart is preparing to create and sell virtual goods such as electronics, toys, and much more. Additionally, the filings revealed Walmart’s plan to create its own cryptocurrency alongside a collection of NFTs. As it relates to shopping in the metaverse, Walmart applied for trademarks on “Verse to Store,” “Verse to Curb,” and “Verse to Home.” Though the company did not directly comment on the trademark filings, they stated they are “continuously exploring how emerging technologies may shape future shopping experiences.”`

An update to C8`s on metaverse.
Learned today(via youtube of course) that when your avatar is in and want to dressup and wear Nikki shoes( or Fruit of Loom undies) , you have to PAY for them in crypto !
Likewise if you want to drive around in a C8 Z06, you might have to pay for it!
So reach out to you favorite dealer and ask for an allocation in the soon coming Metaverse !
I say this since for a lot of us its the most best way we can get one to drive.

Come spring, I will jump behind the wheel of my Corvette; Push the start button; fill full of premium gasoline, hit the pavement with pedal to the metal and forget all the developed tech BS that I really don't have to consider or deal with... Think about this. You put on your VR glasses/headset, enter the Metaverse and shop for car of your choice, say a C9.
You could enter many GM dealerships (or others) across province or Canada, talk to the salesman and cut a deal and not having to drive around during a miserable winter. Remember they are selling cars online and delivering to your door now.
Watch Facebook(Meta), Google and Microsoft .
Note reference to C9. That`s how much time GM might need to get started.

I decided to paint a room and watch it dry.
It frees up my spare time for driving my ‘16 when the snow melts.
