I know this will sound strange but my wife bought me carbon fiber radio and heater knobs for me from Corvette Central, The knobs fit the heater controls great but are too big for the radio . I tried calling Corvette Central and all they did wass send me another set that also does not fit.Anyone know what I am missing here ? There must be a way to get these to fit

...haven't got a clue what they look like, are you saying the knob is lose on the shaft or ?? old school me can only think of the fact that if the shaft is too small then I know some knobs had a spring clip inside the hole to take up the space and hold the knob onto the shaft. Look in your old knobs if they have something that you can pull out and transfer to the new knob ??? my 2 cents.

Good idea Michael. I never thought of the spring clips.... I was thinking of wrapping tape around the shafts to take up space...lol....

Depending upon the year of the car, XFire82 should be correct. Most all of these cars have a sleeve or clip inside the stock knob that can be transferred to get a tight fit.

Pretty cool that Corvette Central took the time to read this and help out.

Hope this bit of news solves the problem for you.

thanks for the replies, the spring clips that are in the old knobs do not fit the new knobs either.I did call the corvette central help and they could not help me but did send me anotherr set that does not fit either. Now I have two sets that do not fit. The knobs come with spring clips in them and two that go on the climate control fit perrfect but the radio ones do not.
