nascar driver jason leffler died last night in a sprint car crash on a dirt track in new jersey. so tragic for his young son charlie who is just kindergarten age. very sad.

Even though it was a dirt track no sport has taken as many strides toward safety as NASCAR . As I understand Jason was a decent fellow in real life .RIP

A sad reminder of the risks these modern day warriors/thrill seekers take! With all the safety innovations of the past few years it's easy to forget they hang it out on the ragged edge!
As the others have said, my heart and thoughts go out to Jason's son and parents!
