On checking the undercarriage of my C5 I realize that. likely the prior owner drove over an object and caused the lower part of front fender to crack where the sheetmetal like screw fixes the fender to the underside.

Has anyone drilled a hole and used a similar screw to hold the fender. Is there a Corvette site anyone can suggest that sells colored washers.
The original hole and screw is no longer holding the fender and I'm thinking an oversized washer may do the job in keeping the fender from vibrating.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
