Question for the more knowledgeable.....I have a C7 (2019) base Stingray. I wanted to ask if (a) anybody has ever upgraded the base car rad fan to a higher flow unit (i.e. base fan is 500 Watt, Z06 fan is 600 Watt - with approx 20% more air flow from what I've read), and (b) if anybody has done this, are the mounts and connectors the same for the higher-flow fan as for the base car fan.If it turns out to be a fairly easy upgrade, I'd like to do it come Spring '25. The goal is not to increase engine cooling, but to improve air conditioning performance. I've found, when stuck and stopped in heavy traffic on a hot day, the discharge temperature from the vents noticeably increases. I've had the system checked, and it was reported as all well-and-good, with suggestions like "use the go pedal to increase engine rpm's when stopped in traffic", etc. That's a pain to do consistently. As a side note, engine temps remain good indicating that the coolant temperature isn't an issue when stopped in the same situation. I see a number of higher wattage fans available on Rock Auto for decent prices, so if it's not a huge modification to mounts/electrical then I might give it a try. Thanks!Late Life Crisis
