We have started on the 1998 Corvette ragtop 427 LS7 RAT.

This project has turned into a real custom one off build .

Jim will for sure have one custom C5 .

I will do a build list later today .

We start by stripping down the drive train .

i'm confused, :confused: when you say 427 rat,are you swapping in a gen 1 mark IV big block ??

No , no :rofl: just being funny . There's a inside joke behind the title .

Its an LS7 Gen IV .

Funny I had a guy over on another forum get all offended thinking it was an orginal rat engine too . Not sure way anyone would do a mark IV big block in a C5 or C6 for that matter :rofl:

ots happening on all our projects ;

The 98 427 swap is currently getting some of its new L5 flared quarters worked on .
