Problems shifting to second

This may be a little off topic but a friend of mine today almost put his 2019 750hp Vette in the ditch today due to losing traction on a slightly cold and damp road when shifting into 3rd gear at full throttle .Lucky his driving skills and the cars handling ability saved the day. Please be careful on these changing roads people .

Why are you launching your car on snows in 60*F weather?
