Problem with latest OTA update

Just a warning for you guys.

I did the latest over the air update about 20 minutes ago which stated it had fixes for the stereo.

Well now I have no stereo! Phone won’t connect either with USB or Bluetooth. No way to listen to my Spotify which I used every day for 10,000kms and the only music I can listen to is AM/FM which by the way all my presets are now missing.

Nice “update” screwed up something that’s been working perfectly since I got the car last August.

I'd like to get to that update! lol My DCT update keeps failing to install (5 times now). A trip to the dealer is in the stars for both of us!

Over the years, have we not learned any lessons regarding updates? Be it Windows, Android, I Phone, what ever.... and now Corvette....

I tried it again at home with better WiFi and it worked. All is good but man I hate “updating” anything. 60% of the time it works every time.

You may find that things start working again 1 by 1. When you disconnect the battery in many cars, some of electronics temporarily stop working, but will come back. My Bluetooth and XM Sirius stopped for a couple days, then came alive again.

My OTA update failed several times at home and I re-loacted the car to the city and tried again but it failed. Last message was to go to the dealer which is a complete waste of a whole day for me. Anyone have a way of getting the OTA back to try it again? Does it require a cell with a data plan? What am I missing if I don't update?
