picton was great.

Doug were you happy with the cars performance? It would have indeed been a great day to run yesterday. Near perfect conditions I would think.

So what is next? Bigger motor? Nitro? Go Daddy Sponsorship now that Danica is not using it? Lots of fun with your dragster.

i was very satisfied with the car's performance murray. the car launches extremely well and does'nt need a big smokey burnout. just bring the tires out of the water and spin them up to staging. my buddy says the car does'nt lift, squat, or wiggle, just GOES like it was launched out of a slingshot !!! my killduff shifter is fantastic. i have a 400 small block that we will use to build a 406 but not till our dollar comes up some.

for anyone that missed this event there is another which is a 2 day event. june 21 st and 22 nd. the variety of cars is astounding. a really good deal - 20 bucks to race and 5 bucks for spectators. there is a car show as well with some stunning rides. it's a great opportunity to do some grudge racing with your buddies too. for us vette guys there was a good turnout and a chance to see things like c7 vs hellcat. my old studebaker was hit with the crowd, lots of folks asking about it and taking pics and videos. one gal even said to me "that car's the star of the show" !!!! hahahaha. of course most people had no idea what it was. there was another stude, a 53 which would have made a neat pairing but he had trouble and went back on the trailer - shame. i highly recommend this event, what a great day.
