Good morning Manny,

How interesting! Is Paul's car currently stock? I've read and been curious about cars running different dyno numbers. I realize that there is some variablity between builds but this might be an opportunity to see if it is true.

I have 91 gas in the car at the moment. The highest I can find locally, no 93 in sight.

Cheers,

Garry

Good morning!

You guys must be just living the dream in that shop! I wonder, outside of spouses, gf's and kids how any of you manage to leave work somedays?

438, can't wait to see how I do with a 2006 model.

Cheers,

Garry

Gee Manny, that is only 10 to 11% drop from 505........I thought crank to rw was more in the area of 15% difference or more. Is Paul's car stock? Lucky SOB probably can burn 93 too! I'm so jealous with all these pickup trucks around here and no stations stocking anything higher..........

Thus why at a glance 438 made sense to me.

Cheers,

Garry

Pauls is completely stock , but the numbers are normal .

Yes you are correct that it is usually a 15% loss , however I think the number lie a bit from GM :D

Good morning Manny,

Yes, I recall from the crazy stupid gross hp days in the late 1960's that they used to fudge numbers to avoid owners have insurance cost problems so that does fit in.

Hey Canuk would be proud of me! I do learn things after all!

That LS7 must be one of the nicest engine designs of all times, what a sweet piece of work.

I think I need to go out for a walk to cool off. I haven't been this excited since I finished harvesting in 2011 (much better crop than 2012) the day before it snowed.

It was a sureal experience looking at your pictures and seeing no snow!

Cheers,

Garry

Looking forward to this build, as I sold paul the car lol! Was one of the nicest ones we've ever had at the dealership.

A super rare car for 2010 being 1 of 84 Z06's with competition gray wheels.

Looking forward to the updates!

What exactly does the muffler mod do? Does it help flow? Does it give a better sound?

That rad looks really nice!!!!

The mod always better flow , as well as enhanced tone . It also does add around 5 more RWHP :canada:

This is a mod I have done to many C6 Z06's and all have loved the overall effect .

Some more goodies installed on Pauls Z :
