I painted the brake calipers using the Vaseline method to wipe the paint from the letters. The letters shined up quite nicely when prep cleaning the calipers. It's a nice upgrade from the OEM grey.

Good job. I removed my calipers and brackets when I painted them earlier this year. A lot easier to clean up and prep. Hung them up, put 3 coats of paint on them over a couple days. I just used my utility knife to carefully scrape the paint from the raised letters. They turned out great also. I agree..the red does look a lot better than the dull factory grey.

Great job. I did mine several years ago and the paint is holding up well. Feel it has burnished a bit from the heat but that could be the track day down south last year.:smile1:

Good job. I did mine in gold on my NSX. Then painted over the original red letters. Left them on the car because I was afraid of not getting them back on right. I know how nerve wracking it can be. And I'm not a patient man. LOL.

I tried doing a home paint job on mine and totally failed haha. Ended up completely disassembling them and got them powder coated. They look great now but it ended up being a way bigger job than I intended.
