Looking to see if anyone would know the paint number for the valve pan covers ,as I would like to paint the engine cover the same shade of red whenever I'm lucky enough to receive my C8.

There have been a number of posts on MECF where guys have found a colour
match for the edge red valve covers and used it for the engine cover.

Thanks for the lead Blu427. I've sifted through MECF on that subject. They also mention Dupli-Color Red Metal Cast Anodized Color as well. I'm not sure which one would be a closer match to the Edge Red. Does anyone have any experience with either of these paints?

I ended up using dupli-color inferno red metallic and got it pretty close! Very happy how it turned out

Did you have to prime it first, also did you use a clear coat after. I am thinking of painting mine torch red.
Looks very nice, we're you able to remove the two top plates and paint them separately.
I'd rather paint it the colour of the valve covers.
