Ordering parts?

Just doing a price compare. corvettecentral- corvettedepot to corvette parts in Alberta
Body mount#4 rear 40$US 78$CAN 90CAN.
Anyone order from corvette central I see they ship UPS not good experience with them in the past.

To Alberta from where? Corvette depot.ca looks OK. Any other experience?

........I've used Corvette depot canada a few times and very satisfied. Some parts worked out cheaper than getting from the states. Used Zip Corvette once also for hard to find part. Pays to shop around but I only have mail service here and some of the States dealers won't mail me nothing so they can keep their parts. Plus the exchange rate today is nuts so take that into consideration before you order anywhere. Christmas coming not far and most have discounts so if you can wait abit you'll save a few bucks then too.
Hate to demote a dealer but the 70 I had here last winter, the owner ordered a bunch from Ecklers, called them and wanted usa made bulbs, brake parts etc. They said oh yes we only sell quality stuff. Parts came and all says China on it, junk.

Like Xfire ... I have used most of the suppliers for one thing or another. Shopping around does sometimes pay-off.

Most of the time I use Corvette Central when they have their 'Canada Free Shipping' promotion.
Like Riley mentioned....This usually happens every couple of months.
CC is a customs agent and can include 'final' pricing in their quote.
Be sure to contact them by e-mail before you place your order on-line. Send them the part numbers/quantities and postal code.
They will get back to you with a landed price at your door including shipping, duties, taxes, etc.. No Surprises.
The instructions are on their website.
Depending on the pieces you need sometimes 10-15% is a better deal than free shipping.

Corvette Central during free shipping, Corvette Depot when I'm working in Windsor, Dr. Rebuild for hard to find stuff. Have used Zip as well. As noted shop around and for non Corvette stuff try Rock Auto........or your local NAPA or Parts Source.

......Geeze I forgot about Ebay, look there too as you never know what is on there sometime. Just awhile ago I picked up NOS C3 headlight bezels and some other stuff from a GM dealer that was getting rid of older Vette parts no reserve and I got it all very cheap, plus came in the mail and no taxes either as most stuff comes across now with no customs fees.

OK Thanks fellas. I guess I wait till I get my frame figured out. Rust I could fix but the LH ball joint is 1/2 inch back from where it should be. Looks like the frame has been straightened but not all the way I don't want to pay to have a frame shop try and say they cant do it. I think I will look for a different one.
