Yes they are one of the few nannies/safety devices that work very well. I did the same with a crotch rocket on Deerfoot. He was probably doing 160 weaving in and out of traffic. Complete idiot that to this day probably doesn't realize it probably saved his life.While I agree Dan; I wish my Corvette had the blind spot alerts. Almost creamed a stealthy little SUV last year cruising at 125 last summer on a 4 lane pulling out to pass a truck. Turned a boring lane change into a “holy $hit” moment.
Things my truck has that my Corvette doesn't, navigation, air conditioned seats, 2 tone leather, motion sensor alarm, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, collision avoidance, 4x4, a back seat, 2 inch levelling kit. I probably forgot a few.
