When you fine folks are out and about and decide to stop somewhere, say to pick up a six pack of wine to have with supper , do you pick the furthest emptiest corner of the parking lot?

A six pack of wine? People think I have a problem lol...When you fine folks are out and about and decide to stop somewhere, say to pick up a six pack of wine to have with supper , do you pick the furthest emptiest corner of the parking lot?
It’s like going to a restaurant and picking a table furthest from everyone to have a bit of privacy and within 10 minutes you are surrounded.Invariably anywhere I park some guy in a big pick up parks next to me. Could be an entire empty lot, and still it’s the same. Atleast they always leave a bit of space. I try to park at the end of a row so my driver’s door can open freely.
Ah . That was you!No, I drive around for an hour waiting for the closest possible spot to open up!
I always do. And by the time I leave there's usually another Vette or a Porsche parked beside me. They aren't stupid either. When you fine folks are out and about and decide to stop somewhere, say to pick up a six pack of wine to have with supper , do you pick the furthest emptiest corner of the parking lot?
It brings another thing to mind. How people can park someone in when there is snow on the ground? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to notice that there is a car behind the car you just parked in front of. It absolutely amazes me that people can be so stupid. You see that way too often! Now nobody can open their door. Have the one in the middle back in , lol . I know, ya have to picture it in your head.
Just watch a bit of “ prime time “ tv for your answer . I personally avoid it like the plague .It brings another thing to mind. How people can park someone in when there is snow on the ground? Yeah I suppose you could consider all the attention that these machines attract as either a positive or detriment depending on your perspective. I’ve always preferred to keep a fairly low profile. I have a feeling that will soon not be possible though , lol. Oh well , c‘est la vie as the Germans say. Kidding.Dont often use the C8 for errands but if its a really nice day and I need to stop at the LCBO or somewhere else yea I find an isolated spot ... also do that with all my vehicles .
It gives me the illusion that my vehicle is 'safer' also allows me to work on my NEAT ...non exercise accumulated totals
I could never put fault on that single mother carrying 20 bags and trying to keep 2 kids in line and fumbling with keys ... who dings the car beside her by accident .
Just hope she doesnt ding mine ... none the less no matter where I park even if my car is parked in an ocean of nothingness when I return .. it never fails... someone is always right beside me
