Take Dean Myers off the list. Saw the news last night. They took $76,000 from a customer and bankrupt in the morning. Another guy had $20,000 deposit for a C8. They owed over $9M. I'm sure the owners knew they were closing, yet still took people's money.

That was debunked a while back now.

That's very curious because right in the owners manual, page 249, it says:

So, I mean, if GM is willing to risk destroying more tires at thier own cost, I guess that's on them.

Perhaps they've looked at the forecast for the next few days and decided it's worth the risk with them being so backlogged.

I was told directly from GM Canada, who had a head office rep at the Auto Show VIP event on February 14th that it did no longer apply to the C8. There have also been statements posted by Michelin that the tire cracking issue has been resolved for the C8s.

So why include it in the owner's manual? :Confused5::Confused5::Confused5:

Dunno man... I guess we’ll find out soon.

I don't like contradicting information. It's unreliable and creates unnecessary confusion for the public. I can only imagine if they ship them out in January, when it's hitting lows of -25C and a custom receives one, then reads that note, they're going to flip.

EJ it could be that they have some kind of protecting coat on them when new for cold shipping but after use may not be suitable for cold weather. Just a guess! No confirmation from Michelin
