2021 I was happily riding along with cruise control set at the typical 100 and maybe missed a lower speed sign but the highway was 4 lanes and no change, no on ramp, no urban build-up so I noticed nothing until 4 months later got a photo speeding ticket 109 in an 80 zone

Toronto cops will want to speak to you, when they see that.

Did they tell you where?

Upon further review, that's KPH, not MPH?
Photo radar sucks.

Yes. Hwy 1 Sask is 600km long, 4 lane with a speed of 110, though in Regina it drops to a reasonable 100. EXCEPT Moose Jaw where, although the hwy bypasses the town, the speed drops to 80 in order to have some economic activity not involving grain or a giant moose.

"Over the past six months, the photo radar camera located at the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Ninth Avenue Northwest in Moose Jaw has caught 25,000 speeding violations." so 50,000 a year times $200 is about $10,000,000 yes 10 million.

Also a couple stretches on Hwy 11 (divided 4 lane and speed limit 110) between Prince Alberta and Saskatoon.
These would be crossing intersections at town locations with the towns being on one side only.
I can see accidents happening at these locations.

Thanks for the avoidance/warning info.
I'm usually on I-94 or US2 up there anyway, if I'm headed west.
Cheaper fuel.
