Since money is tight I have been reading through old corvette magazines on rainy days. The old ones: corvette fever, Vette, these old magazines were so much better. With tons of technical articles of upgrades and performance parts of the 90's. Mostly TPI stuff. Some good reading. Anyway is there any site that I can go to to read back issues of magazines for free?
I love reading about bolting on a performance part and seeing if it made a difference on a dyno. Such as, tpi runners, chips, intakes, air filters, cold air intakes...

I have a shatload of old magazines from years gone by. My four-year-old son has taken to reading them while he sits on the toilet, and that is where the pleasant conversations of the enjoyable nostalgia ends. I need to move all my favorite magazines. lol.

There are lots of great websites out there where you can find all sorts of great information. Most of the great old magazines have gone under because of the internet, but many of the best ones have been taken over by bigger publishers. Hot Rod is one of the biggest. I don't want to put up a link if it isn't appropriate, but put in that name with a dot com, or just google Hot Rod Magazine. They also own Road Kill, Car Craft, Muscle Car, High Performance Pontiac, and many others.

Vette magazine is another of my favorites, and they are owned by another big media group known as Super Chevy. Again, that name dot com.

YouTube is a fantastic resource as well, although it can be hard to filter through the bullshit to get what you want.

It's easy to find enough content to burn away a rainy day.

Nelson, I have boxes of old magazines, Road & Track, Car & Driver, Stock Car, Open Wheel and Circle Track. I have not read them in years but there is an attachment to them I cannot explain. Primarily from the 60's and 70's, then late 80's and early90's. I can look at what I have and see a progression in my automotive interest, drag racing to road racing to stock cars to open wheel racing. Still enjoy racing especially the short track open wheel cars. I seldom buy magazines anymore unless the cover is too good to pass up.

Keep enjoying your magazines, just don't wear them out.
