They call me BIG MO, cause Big Mo wanna get............... (delete expletive here). Great punch line to classic old joke. Anyway, I live in Winchester Kentucky, hope that's ok with yall. Looking for a place to get info or advice on my recently aquiered retirement car. 1970 white coupe, big block 454, bored .042 over to a sweet 496. Hooker side pipes and electronic ignition , along with vintage ac are the only upgrades. mostly all stock after that. The 3 speed THM tranny will break the back end loose at any speed i have tried so far. I have scared every Mustang and Challenger owner in my town to death. HA!!! So good to be associated with like minded folks. Bought my 1st vette when i was 19. A sweet ,64 convertible. Sold it after a few years to pay for my wedding, and regretted it ever since. Loving this new beast though. Plant to drive this a few years, then look for my ultimate C-2. Enjoy the pics.

Welcome to our place here Big Mo. A C3 in white is boss !! yeah, a friend of mine when he bought his 70 with the 454 back around '79 I think it was, when driving it home first time he thought well gotta see what this thing can do. At 60 he floored it and all he said was something banged and it went wild, he thought he got hit by something, it was scarey how the 454 moved that plastic car. Enjoy your ride.

Welcome Big Mo. Great handle and great introduction.
Yes that is a beautiful C3. It looks so good with the pipes and wheels. I expect she pretty loud too.
There’s plenty of C3 guys in here with lots of experience and stories with this generation.
You really must have loved her to sell off the 64... likely be a tougher decision selling off a 64 today. But these decisions are usually worth it right... depending on how you actually meant that one.

Enjoy your time here and that awesome Corvette.

Welcome Mo and appreciate the write up and pictures. That is a beautiful 70 you have there. I have always been very fond of the sidepipes on the chrome bumper cars. Is that the place you bought the car? Incredible looking collection!

A BIG Welcome BIG MO :Seeya:
Awesome acquisition and very much like the norm-in-a-life's-circle of others.
I'm was also a member of the "recently married and the sportscar needs to go club". :muted:
Fast-forward to 30 years in just 30 days from today and I am not too bad off at all with the vehicles in my garage. :joyful:
Your garage is looking mighty sweet now too.
It's also very, very, very difficult to not let our eyes wander in the photos of the shop you are in … wow :Woot:
Happy to have you with us on these forums … enjoy.

Hey thanks everybody!. Yea, I WISH that was my garage in those pics. That SHELTON'S CLASSIC CARS in Mooresville North Carolina. Probably 150 of the sweetest collectibles I have ever seen assembled. I drove down there and bought my car. On the selling the '64 when was 21 years old and regretting it. Yep, Paid for a wedding, but still regret it. 38 year anniversary for the wife and I in September. Oh well. Makes it even more sweet now. And a HAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO ALL OF MY PATRIOT BUDDIES. Salute......
