Oil change hon wrong??

A friend took my 99 coupe in for an oil change. He thought he was doing me a favour. In spite of me giving him 2 new containers of Mobile 5W 30, the mechanic insisted on using 0W 30 because the oil cap said so. Neither my friend nor mechanic knew that the oil cap was not the original and was a cap from a goody bag from a show. Do I need to immediately replace the 0W oil with 5W or am I good until next oil change?

The first digit is for cold weather so the 5w30 will be thicker in those (near freezing) temperatures. i think you should be fine.

I may be from Canada but it is 88 -100 degrees, so, do I need to change it to 5W or can I wait until next oil change?
