I'd be more worried about how the oil is getting into the intake in the first place. Catch cans seem to work for engines with this oil problem and they are not that hard to install. Our 2005, with over 70K miles on it uses virtually no oil between oil changes. Even so, I have thought about adding a catch can. Can't hurt.

I would suggest pulling the PCV hose and valve off and checking if you fresh oil in them. It is quite possible you need a new PCV valve as they are calibrated to allow the proper air flow pressure from the crankcase into the intake manifold and do wear out. Just because it rattles when shaken, doesn't mean it's working right. Word or warning.... PCV valves are not interchangable and don't buy a cheap aftermarket one. JMO

Thanks l will buy one and always Ac delco 👍

You can just remove the throttle body and reach in there with paper towel and rags. You might want to use a syringe or a brake vacuum tool to collect the majority of it first. That is what I used on my 2011 GS. I then installed a catch can (2 of them actually). The second one has never got a drop as the first one collects it all. I drain it away and collect it for the recycler.
