No folks that's not a typo 900+ RWHP from a 2010 Z06 with an LS7 .

We did this build from scratch , not bolts on

Fully forged LS7 , Our Dasilva Motorsports heads & custom cam , stage 2 fuel from A&A , a little V7 YSi pumping out 16psi a flip drive , LS9 ZR1 clutch , tick clutch master , some Alky Control meth .....scary is all we can say .

The Master blaster tuner Arun strikes again .

Thanks to Josh from A&A for the help on this one :D

Here's a little vid , and I post up the graph tomorrow

If its Corvette Performance , Dasilva Motorsports is Leading Edge .

Here is the final pull and the dyno sheet + a little video :canada:

Oh Colin I'm sure our cars are just fine and good enough to have us pushing up daisies if we were careless! Still that is a mighty fine achievement for an LS7. Gives one pause for thought for the next build now doesn't it?!

Maybe double it?

You're right too Keith. Maybe we need to send Manny on a real project to help with this issue. Any possibility of a 4 wheel drive car Manny? After all traction to four tires would have to be one way to solve this problem!

Did you add one of those traction control systems that we had discussed in the past??

Cheers,

Garry

what kind of life expectancy does the rest of the driveline have ? some big sticky slicks might just be apt to twist the ass end right out from under the car. do you think the car would pass tech at the drag strip ?

Your kidding right , pass inspection ....

I think by now, people on this forum are very much aware that we build quality proven cars . The drive line is fine , this is not a quarter mile car , its a hwy car :canada:

You can say that again Garry -- My 615 to the wheels is more than I need and yes, more than enough to get 'in trouble'.. and your 744 is probably enough for you -- those numbers are very stout in themselves, never mind the 1k level:eek:

I'll watch your "next build" with interest and some envy I suppose ..... but man it does make one wonder what 1000 would be like.:D

Kudos to Manny's team. Seems any number of ponies are there if one wants them.

Good evening Colin, BH76,

You're quite right BH76, I am focusing my "spirited" driving moments to the autocross track and with the arrival in hopefully two weeks of my Velocity Yellow 22" full deck power tilting trailer for transport to further distances maybe like Edmonton/Calgary to the race tracks there!

No doubt Colin I am fully satisfied and like BH76 points out, 615, 744 or 975 rwhp are plenty enough to get you into trouble if discrssion and caution are not exercised!

The next built will be a lot more though. While it may take me some time to get the $ together I'm considering targeting the 1500 to 1800 rwhp range for fun. I can't imagine the engine this would be, if it would SC or TT either. Major tranny/drivetrain upgrades as well I'm sure. I wonder what new tricks Manny will have up his sleeve in a couple of years, what new technology will be developed. It would be nice if it was scaleable too, sort of 10 buttons you push depending on boost level you want............and how to get that power to hook up properly too!

The fun thing about dreams! And lets hope that CN gets their act together so we can start to reverse the winters collapse of grain prices thanks to our old customers going elsewhere as all our grain hasn't been moving very far since harvest ended.

Cheers,

Garry

Sounds like a quite a dream Garry!

For me, I would LOVE 600 out of my car but we should discuss our dream builds in another thread so this one doesn't derail too much.

Hey Manny, how much power can the rear of the Z06 handle before needing to be upgraded? Is this the highest HP car you've done so far?

C5 Z05 or C6 Z06 ?

C5Z is good to 700ish
C6Z 800ish

Again this does depend on what you are doing with the car . If you are hard launching it , than it won't take long before either breaks .

Great question Manny. I was more thinking about the C6Z. Very nice to know the HP limits of the rears outside of hard launching at the track.

Also a good question because I always thought a rear end could only take so much power but it really depends on what it will be used for. As I builder, I see how these details will be very important to know!

I could not imagine the thrust this car will produce!!!!!!
