It's plug and play, but to run the Navigation, you need to add the GPS antenna, and a speed source to the GPS navigation. I'm in Quispamsis if you need any further info. Pm me. I also have a GM nano tech II to marry the nav unit to your car rather than you needing to go to a dealer and get charged an hour or so of labour for a 2 minute job. I added a used Nav unit to my car in the Spring, and married it to the Vin # so it would not be locked when starting the car. You can put the car in aux mode to try out the unit, and it will work. Once you start the car, it will be locked out.
