In the past week my car has been hit twice. Once on the rear bumper cover and once on the Nose. And no one came forward.. If nothing else my body shop will be glad for the business. Some people just don't care about others stuff... :-(

Sorry to hear about that...haven't had that on my one year old C7 yet...but last year one of our family vehicles was literally 1.5 weeks old when someone put 3 dents in the door and took off.

A..holes they are everywhere I am afraid.

Sorry for the damage to your vehicle and your wallet.:(

My wife's new Honda CRV was two days old. Was left alone in a parking lot for 10 minutes and some inconsiderate slob clipped her front bumper by the time we got back to the car. When my C8 comes in it will never be left alone. One of us will stay with the car when taken out. Or be within eye sight. It's like people go out of their way to damage other peoples property.

An inconvenient pain for sure ...
Just got my truck back a few weeks ago. Got a little tiny hit and run dent in Edmonton and did not even notice it until I washed my truck back in Calgary. Damn thing was appraised at $3500 to repair. So had to go back to Edmonton for a damage sticker because of covid having RCMP shut for reports and Calgary Police did not want to deal with an Edmonton incident. Insurance appraised at $2400 and I went crap ... there's a difference. Found out body shops charge walk-ins a lot more than claimed damage. Wow. Still got to use my preferred repair shop (Contemporary Coachworks) and the Truck is back and good as new. No worry with a no fault hit and run on my insurance but out a net deductible of a couple hundred. Not happy somebody hit my vehicle and not letting the who, what, where, when, why anxiety of the unknown get the best of me.

I've had cars keyed and rims stolen, it really is an awful feeling. I remember living in Toronto on my own in my early 20's, barely able to keep a roof over my head. I had a cheap little hot hatch but I loved it and kept it mint, made sure not to rice it up to avoid calling any attention to it, but some looser a-hole felt the need to key it from one end to the next. I still get angry thinking about it, always wondered about people like that.

Those people are deranged or jealous or both.
