I had been thinking about doing the same for the engine in my 64 Bonneville and still haven’t gotten around to it. Mind you I’ve only had the vehicle for 25 years……it runs pretty well just getting the timing and dwell right with fresh points, new cap and rotor. And wires and plugs and coil …you know the drill. Had to do it in spurts back then due to budget but lots of fun nonetheless.
