Low and behold I just found this forum by accident. Some of you will probably know me from the other Corvette Forum. I own a 2010 red Grand Sport convertible A6 I bought in April brand new and put 11500 km. on it in 2011. This is my 5th Corvette and I am a member of the Corvettes of Western Ontario.

What other Corvette Forum? Beautiful car! The GS's are awesome! Glad you found us and welcome! I hope you enjoy yourself here!

Glad you found us, ontcanuck--we're a relatively small group but growing quickly.

The 'vette looks awesome and indeed my brothers C6 'vert is what got me involved and I chose the GS coupe in Crystal Red and love it.

Look forward to a 'vette meet come spring.

Colin.

Make sure you come to our Anderson show here in Woodstock on June 2 its the 10th yr. for the show. If there is no threat of rain we will get 200 Vettes as we did 3 yrs. ago

Sounds good. If it's possible for sure I'll be there. I see that you're a contributing author there....cool.

We also have some shows coming up in '12 not the least of which is this one:

A great organization and a great show -- Hope to see you there too.

Colin.

ontcanuck - Love your car and look forward to meeting up at events this spring. Hopefully the weather cooperates a little nicer for the shows this summer as almost all shows I attended last year ended up with a downpour.

must have been to different shows. We got rain at Wasaga beach cruise  and at our Anderson show :(. and the rest I lucked out. Even with the rain we got at Anderson we still managed to get 140 Vettes. With the weather we had this winter i drove my GS till Dec. 12, in fact I thought the weather would hold up till to-day Fri. 13 as I was ready to take the Harley to Port Dover but not to be :swear:.

I wished I'd kept the 'vette on the road a while longer but gave in to saving a few $$$ and didn't want to chance the snow. It also got a little 'slippery' with summer tires on in the cold.

Oh well -- even without the 'vette it's been a decent winter so far.

I wonder who will show at Dover today. There will be a few 'Iron butts' I'm sure.

If I remeber correctly, we got absolutely drenched at Wasga Beach about an hour after we spoke, Anderson's show rained heavily mid morning, the Cambridge show rained on my way there, Welland poured on the ride home so much so I actually pulled over and Simcoe rained lightly a couple of times.
The only event that the I attended that the sun shone brightly was Bayfield and I was without a Vette having sold mine the evening prior and taking possession of my new one mid afternoon. I was however able to tag along with several vette owners for the ride up there but it was not quite the same cruising in with my wife's Camry ...
I am however, optimistic that this year the rain gods will spare me on show days!

We had a great summer last year in Sask. I hope you guys get the same thing as what we had.....and we get what we had. The two previous summers prior to that sucked pretty badly.

Seems that it rained everywhere that Terry was at .

So I think that if Terry stays away , then it won't rain .

Besides his car way to ugly to be seeen out in public anyway

LOL it would be a shame not to have Terry and his monster ('vette) with us so we'll just have to bring our brollies to stay dry.

Ugly you say Manny? -- I'd better bring a car cover then:rofl:

Anyone know of a good mechanic to help pretty her up. Fair warning that I plan on attending many events this coming season ... you have been warned.
