Just joined and happy to see a Canadian Forum!
I just bought my first Corvette in the summer of 2018.
2007 white Base 3LT Convertible with magnetic ride and cross drilled rotor packages.
This year I hope to get some dash pieces Hydro Dipped with carbon fibre, add a wicker bill spoiler and do something to the exhaust to make it a bit louder (no drone and not too loud).
If anyone in the CALGARY area has some good advice on good affordable shops for these little projects I’d sure appreciate it.
Happy Motoring and stay warm!

Hi Jim
Very clean looking corvette you have there. I expect you enjoyed it immensely last summer.
You will get plenty of good advice on exhaust systems for you C6. The carbon fibre mods are always a great addition too.

Yes Davenport has done work for lots of CCF folks and always gets a thumbs up after so you can’t go wrong there for advice and work on your exhaust or whatever your after for your Corvette.

Welcome and enjoy

Welcome to CCF. Davenport is a very good place to visit.
Although I am very "novice" with my inquieries in comparison
to other customers of theirs, they welcome me with answers.
I have hired them in the past with work on a 1998 Grand Prix GTP
for SLP Ram Air, Supercharger Pulley & Exhaust packages. Nothing
on my Corvette but have recently seen great happiness from others
on theirs. Another reference has come my way with ZR Auto as well.
We are all learning! :)
I’ll try to get to Davenports this week!
Thank you!

If what you are seeking is interior and trim work and Davenport is not
set up for it, I would recommend to see Contemporary Coachworks.
I am setting up for obtaining some Real Exposed Carbon Fibre Vents
and maybe white Z06 tail lights sometime this year
and will be approaching them to see if they will spare a trim specialist
to remove & install them ... they have already done this for me on
a previous occasion but I never thought to remove & switch-out at the time.

... that is if I can't build up the confidence to tear my Corvette up all by myself :Woot:
with "plan B" to have them put it back together :WillyNilly:

I know the feeling!
Im scared Ill break something tearing the interior trim out for the hydrographics.
Does Contemporary actually do Hydrographics? I didnt see it on their website.
Thanks again
Jim

Welcome aboard and grateful car! When I bought my 2005 I was errified at the thought of touching it for fear of breaking something. Now, 8 years later I have done some of my own work and I'm currently re-installing my whole interior after placing Kilmat throughout the cockpit. Lots of information here and many videos and pages in Google to guide you. And don't worry if you break a plastic clip, you won't be the first or the last. Make it your own!

Hi Messner. Welcome. I'm in NB. Enjoy that ride. I'm kind of partial to convertibles myself, having driven 2 different generations for the last 41 years. Haven't been on the forum much, but that will likely change over the winter months. I wonder if sometime your by Shaganappi Chev, Jack Carter Chev or Capital Chev in Calgary, if you could get their dealer numbers, off one of the window stickers from any new car on their lot? (It's a 5 digit # located on the bottom right corner area of the label) I'm trying to find a new 3LT Corvette that was shipped to Calgary? and all I have is a dealer # so far. (Trying to match it up with a location)

Don't forget Shaw GMC.
I sat in a new black Z06 in their showroom yesterday.
Have you tried looking at the various websites and their inventory or sending them an email?
Seems like dealers here are starting to get 2019 stock.

Welcome aboard!

Corsa Sport axle-back will make all the sound difference you are looking for.

Although....... 1-3/4" longtubes with a custom-y and no cats with the Corsa Sport is power and sound!

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for in a spoiler, but there are some good GM options to consider as well as a plentiful aftermarket.

Thanks, yes I love that sound!
