New wheels, new look!

How did you stop the TPMs light from coming on with the new wheels. I’d like to put new wheels on my 93 Convertible but don’t want the TPMs constantly on.

@Baver no reason I can think of that the sensors would not work in these wheels. It is just a valve stem. Am I wrong?

My 93 has them built into the wheels. The new valve stem ones of today are new style and operate on a different frequency. If I could get new ones I’d switch to the 96 wheels as I like the look.

Before I brought my new wheels & tires to be mounted & balanced, I asked the garage to remove the old tires from the OEM sawblades.
Surprise, surprise, there were no TPMS sensors in any of them.
I suspect the previous owner had nuisance alerts for which I've read the early sensors were notorious.
I've always monitored my tire pressure since one of the tires had a slow leak so it's no big deal.
